Complete waste treatment and disposal service.

I.M.G.2 provides complete waste treatment and/or disposal services of different types at our facilities in Agrate Brianza (operated by Ingeco) and Gorle (operated by Esposito Servizi Ecologici) or at third-party facilities.

Waste treatment and recovery.

Our plants sort waste mechanically and manually to recover high percentages of reusable materials, such as plastic, wood, glass, paper, ferrous materials, etc.
Non-recoverable waste undergoes processing aimed at reducing its volume, and we send it to waste-to-energy plants or, if not otherwise exploitable, we destine it for landfill disposal. Each operation is conducted with specific machinery and with total respect for the environment.

Efficient service.

Our waste treatment and disposal service is designed to assure customers of total reliability, efficiency, convenience, and compliance with regulations.

Our service includes:

Disposal of special hazardous, toxic/harmful, and nonhazardous wastes:
- paints, sludge, slag, soils, sludge, abatement dust, production waste.
- Physical state: solid, dusty, slushy, and liquid.
- Packaged in bulk, in big bags, in drums, in tanks, on pallets.

Disposal/recovery of waste from demolition and remediation:
- Contaminated soils and wastes produced by remediation operations.

- hazardous insulation materials, sheet asbestos, asbestos cement (Eternit), friable asbestos, and asbestos artifacts.
- environmentally friendly asbestos.

Special and municipal waste disposal/recovery:

- bulky waste - EWC 200307.
- Screenings and sands from sewage treatment plants - EWC 190801 - EWC 190802.
- organic waste.

Waste recovery from thermal processes.
- Biomass combustion ash and wood waste.
- combustion slag.
- sludge.
- soils.

Biological and chemical/physical sludge disposal/recovery:
- sludge to be sent for recovery at the final treatment plants.
- off-spec sludge for recovery to be sent for disposal at landfills or
waste-to-energy plants.

Waste disposal at landfills and waste-to-energy facilities:
- waste generated by treatment and storage facilities.
- non-reusable fraction from sorting and screening of nonhazardous waste - EWC 191212.
- RDF fuel derived from waste - EWC 191210.
- surpluses from treating and/or inerting hazardous waste - EWC 191211.

Waste disposal/recovery from industrial and commercial activities:

EWC codes.

The European Waste Catalogue (EWC) is a harmonized list of wastes that provides a reference nomenclature with common terminology for the entire European Union to improve all waste management activities. Through the EWC, it is possible to identify the type of waste and its classification for disposal or recovery. The different kinds of waste in the list are defined explicitly using a six-digit code for each waste and the corresponding four-digit and two-digit codes for the respective chapters.
